Are you suffering with Depression in Derby – or looking for help with Depression in Derby ? Depression is perhaps one of the most debilitating ailments that can befall us. If you’ve never suffered with it, it’s hard to quite understand why someone can’t just ‘snap themselves out of it ‘. Just accept the fact that if they could, then they would.
The fact is though that the more you allow it to engulf you – the more it does. There’s a saying that says “If you do what you’ve always done – you’ll get what you’ve always got”. So, by that I mean that if you continually avoid say going out, going to work, involving yourself in hobbies etc etc….then you’re going to find it difficult to get better.
Now I know that sounds like I’m saying ‘snap out of it ‘ …but I’m not. What I’m saying is that there are things you can do to help yourself. A colleague of mine recently posted a blog https://relaxlikeaboss.com/depression-sucks/ . Have a look at it – you may find it helps / give you an insight into why / how to work with depression.
The way forward
Well, for me there’s no better way to recover from depression than to work with a Therapist. A Therapist will help you to get out of that depressive cycle and get you back into normality again.
