Weight Loss


Hi Geoffrey,
I am emailing you to update you on my progress 🙂 I came to see you with weight issues at the end of 2013/ beginning of 2014. Current weight loss 24 pounds…. I was hoping for more however I’ve reassessed and realised since the end of April I’ve had something on 3 out of 4 weekends a month and I’ve maintained since then. But in the last couple of weeks I’ve actually realised that’s quite an achievement given on my time away/out I’ve eaten as I’ve wanted so during the week I’m obviously making better choices. It’s my mindset that has changed more than anything. I’ve had several sticky moments but I’ve managed to pull myself out of it with the help of the CDs ect. I’m able to look at the bigger picture and see beyond comments. Recently I had a woman I hardly know come up to me and say I didn’t realise you were expecting …. I was initially upset but I looked at myself in the mirror and thought I just don’t see it… I’m not skinny but I certainly don’t look pregnant! And I attributed it to the fact I was holding my son and was probably standing funny to balance out his weight. ( My friends helped with positive comments about how well ive done too!)I still have some way to go but I fit into most of my wardrobe and I generally feel more positive And am
Able to put a more positive spin on things. I’ve taken on more hours at work plus more responsibility … Some of which I can cope with some less so but i don’t feel bad for that I’ve done my best and that’s all I can do. I’m hoping to double my weight loss again but I don’t want to get bogged down with numbers. It’s not perfect but I’m able to accept that and draw a line if things ever get out of hand. I do still overeat at times as everybody does but I’m not the bottomless pit I was!!!!! Next aim is to increase exercise. I do walk
More …. I have more energy (a lot more) so in general I move more but I think to help my weight loss improve I need to so more active exercise and fit it Into
My week. I have one more weekend away then it’s relatively clear give or take a weekend or two until Christmas so I can go for it again …. Although to be fair I’ve not made massive differences. I’ve stopped snacking that was the biggest one and I stop when I’m full and pay attention to how many treats I’m having. Just wanted to say thank you for altering my mind set and enabling me to believe in myself. Thanks. L.M.
